Do you want to contribute to the development of Sweden's infrastructure? We are now looking for an experienced and engaged Project Engineer who wants to work on exciting road projects in Gothenburg.

As a Project Engineer, you will work closely with one or more project managers and serve as a key support in the implementation of the projects. The role involves contributing to the planning, administration, coordination, and follow-up of various parts of the projects, with a focus on time, cost, quality, risks, resources, safety, environment, and working conditions.

You will have many points of contact both internally and externally, as well as participate in meetings with consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders. The role also involves preparing background materials and analyses to follow up on contractors' deliveries and ensure that project goals are met.

Responsibilities

• Support project managers in daily project control.
• Participate in planning, administration, and follow-up of projects.
• Manage and follow up on schedules, economy, risks, and resources.
• Coordinate and document meetings with contractors and consultants.
• Prepare decision-making materials, reports, and follow-up documentation.
• Contribute to ensuring projects are conducted according to applicable laws, regulations, guidelines, and internal processes.
• Assist project managers in internal and external contacts.
• Follow up on contractors' deliveries and the project's progress.

We are looking for someone who has

Required Qualifications

• An academic education with a technical focus, at least 120 higher education credits in engineering, economics, civil engineering, or equivalent competence assessed as equivalent.
• At least 5 years of experience within the last 5 years working as:
  • Project Engineer,
  • Contracting Engineer,
  • Project Coordinator, or
  • Project Economist
  within road and civil engineering projects, with at least 50% full-time employment.
• At least 2 years of continuous experience within the same assignment.
• At least 5 years of experience in:
  • Risk management
  • Schedule planning
  • Economic control in projects
• Certification according to TDOK 2018:0371 APV, at least level 2.2.
  • (The certification can be completed no later than two months after contract signing.)
• Valid driver's license (Category B).
