We are looking for a Scheduler for the Catenary System Factory at Trafikverket (Swedish Transport Administration).

This is a consulting assignment. The location is Gothenburg.

The position is full-time.

The assignment involves close collaboration with the client, which places high demands on flexibility and teamwork.

The Assignment

Deputy Project Manager for Scheduling, with primary responsibility for leading, controlling, and monitoring activities related to scheduling within the Catenary System Factory and other railway projects. The role encompasses planning, monitoring, and controlling the work of designers and contractors, developing routines and processes, and supporting project management throughout all phases of the project.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coordinate, and develop scheduling work for the Catenary System Factory and other projects, as well as coordinate implementation with other business areas within Trafikverket.
• Develop and refine routines, templates, requirements, and educational materials for scheduling, and conduct training initiatives.
• Participate in the creation and monitoring of project schedules, and review contractors' and designers' schedules, documentation, and reporting.
• Verify the competence, qualifications, and compliance of designers and contractors with established requirements.
• Participate in design, construction, financial, and procurement work, ensuring that contracts are executed according to agreements and other documentation.
• Monitor schedules, costs, forecasts, quality, environment, working environment, and safety, and report on project progress and status.
• Handle deviations, authority contacts, and collaboration with contractors, designers, property owners, and external parties.
• Coordinate technical branches and adjacent contracts, and monitor work in the design and production phases, including field inspections.

Requirements (OBS, mandatory)

• University or college degree of at least 180 ECTS credits (120 credits) in civil engineering, technology, or another area relevant to the position, or alternatively other education combined with experience that Trafikverket deems equivalent.
• At least 8 years of experience in qualified scheduling within infrastructure, industry, and energy, with at least 4 years in complex projects where scheduling was the main area of responsibility. This work must have been performed using tools such as MS Project, Primavera, or equivalent as assessed by Trafikverket.
• Valid driver's license for passenger cars.
• Good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.

Meritorious Qualifications

• Good knowledge of scheduling methodology.
• Experience in creating educational materials and conducting training.
