About the position

Do you want a varied and developmental role within hematology? We are now looking for a nurse for a 100% permanent position with rotation between Ward 67 and the Hematology Clinic at Mora Hospital.

Here, you will work in an engaged team where we together provide safe and person-centered care to patients with hematological diseases. The rotational position gives you the opportunity to develop broad competence through work in both inpatient and outpatient care.

Ward 67 is a multiprofessional acute care ward specializing in cardiology and neurology. Specialist doctors are available for both areas. The ward is divided into two sections based on our specializations. We work in cross-professional teams where nursing assistants, nurses, and doctors collaborate closely with the patient at the center. We also have other paramedical professions such as physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and social workers who work closely with us and exchange knowledge.

The Hematology Clinic is a specialist clinic for patients with diseases of the blood and bone marrow. Here, investigation, treatment, and follow-up take place for conditions such as leukemia, lymphoma, and other blood diseases. The work involves patient visits, treatments, and close collaboration in teams regarding the patient's care.

Responsibilities

The rotational position includes work on both the ward and the clinic. Responsibilities include, among other things:

• Nursing and treatment of patients with hematological diagnoses
• Nursing and treatment of patients with neurological and/or cardiological diagnoses
• Cytostatic treatment and other medical treatments
• Patient information and support for patients and relatives
• Collaboration in multiprofessional teams

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse
• You are responsible, flexible, and have good collaboration skills

Merits

• Experience in hematology or medical care
• Further education in oncology
• Cytostatic driver's license
