We are now looking for a specialist doctor in BUP or psychiatry to join our team. Our main clinic is located in Borlänge. We collaborate closely with our branch in Orsa, and we are opening a new branch in Mora this autumn. There is an opportunity to base your work at either the main clinic or the branches. We work on behalf of the Region of Dalarna and receive children and adolescents for assessment, treatment, and investigation in specialist psychiatric outpatient care. At the clinic, specialist doctors, nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, dietitians, social workers, psychotherapists, psychologists, and secretaries work together, guided by the motto "With heart for the children – with focus on quality and interaction, with the individual at the center".
About the Role
As a specialist doctor, your main tasks will be psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and medical treatment of children and adolescents with mental health issues. We work evidence-based, and the work is conducted both in teams and individually. On-call and standby duties for the county-shared BUP emergency department/ward 68 are included and distributed among all BUP clinics in the county.
About You
We are looking for you who are a specialist doctor in child and adolescent psychiatry or adult psychiatry.
As a person, you adapt easily to changing circumstances and value interdisciplinary collaboration.
You keep the patient in focus during medical assessments and in your interactions. You collaborate well with all staff categories and other operational areas. You can supervise colleagues, employees, and students, and you seek supervision for yourself when needed. Personal suitability is highly valued.
What We Offer
With us, you will have a meaningful and developing workday where your commitment to the mental health of children and young people truly makes a difference. We value both your competence and your well-being, offering good conditions for you to grow in your role.
The work is performed with trust-based working hours, which provides flexibility and better conditions for planning your workday.
As an employee, you are covered by collective agreements, occupational pension, and good insurance terms. We also offer a health and wellness allowance and actively work to promote a sustainable work environment with a balance between work and private life.
You will become part of an interdisciplinary team where collaboration, development, and participation are at the center – with us, you contribute both your own competence and help us become better together.
