The psychiatric outpatient team in Rättvik is staffed up to the nurse level; similar teams are located in both Mora and Malung. From Mora, our joint medical team, mobile team (PEA-team), administrative team, and assessment and treatment team operate. We collaborate closely between teams and can also be flexible regarding which clinic you are stationed at during your working hours. Digital work may also be accepted for this position if deemed appropriate based on qualifications. We work towards a common outpatient care service across all of Region Dalarna, meaning collaboration with outpatient clinics in other locations also occurs and is under development. Inpatient care is available in Falun and Säter.

Our working hours are weekdays (Monday–Friday) 08:00–16:30, with weekends and holidays off, allowing you to plan your time and spend time with loved ones during the red days of Christmas, New Year, and Easter.

We are looking for a nurse who wants to join our addiction team in Psychiatric Outpatient Care Dalarna, based in Rättvik.

Patient care is divided into different functional areas such as neuropsychiatry, psychosis care, addiction care, and care for affective conditions, although common cases also occur. This position focuses primarily on the addiction team.

As a nurse in our outpatient team, you will see patients during various types of visits. Duties include psychiatric assessments and follow-ups, medication management – including distribution, administration, and follow-up – as well as sample collection. We also provide telephone advice and patient education in both group and individual settings. We collaborate with relatives, neighboring care providers, and inpatient care. We offer visits at the clinic, digitally, and occasionally home visits. We work closely as a team within our own clinic but also with other clinics in the Region's psychiatric outpatient care. Specifically within the addiction team, there is extensive collaboration with municipalities and primary care. We have a cross-professional addiction team both within psychiatric outpatient care and an integrated addiction clinic together with the health center and municipality in the areas where we operate. Here, we can meet patients together during allocated time 1 day/week and conduct joint planning with various authorities.

Onboarding takes place on-site and is adapted to individual needs.

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse (RN)
• Valid Category B driver's license required
