About the Department

Neurophysiology Lab (Neurofyslab) at Falu Hospital is an outpatient unit within the neurology section. The lab has a county-wide mandate, primarily handling planned operations, but also some acute care for patients on the ICU and pediatric wards. Consequently, the lab investigates both children and adults, offering a rewarding variety in your daily work with people.

At Neurofyslab, we work daytime hours, Monday to Friday, and are off on public holidays.

Responsibilities

The examinations performed here include EEG, MSLT, Neurography, EMG, Thermotest, and Lung Function Tests.

This position is a fixed-term assignment lasting from 2026-09-01 to 2027-09-05.

Qualifications

You must be a licensed Biomedical Laboratory Scientist with education focused on clinical physiology. As this is a fixed-term contract, prior experience in one or more of the examinations listed in the advertisement is required to ensure a quick start in the role.
