Job Description

Are you a specialist physician educated outside the EU/EEA? Join Region Dalarna's EU-funded Med3Comp project and complete six months of clinical training, with language support and integration assistance available.

Swedish language level B2 or higher is required, and a decision from the Swedish National Board of Health and Welfare (Socialstyrelsen) confirming the need for clinical training must be attached.

Med3Comp is an EU-funded project aimed at facilitating the validation process for specialist physicians educated outside the EU/EEA, as well as supporting both professional and social integration in Sweden.

As a participant in the program, you will:

• Participate in clinical practice for 6 months (practical training).
• Receive language support when needed.
• Participate in societal orientation as part of your integration into Swedish society.
• Receive assistance with practical matters such as work permits, housing, and schools for you and any accompanying family members.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who:

• Have received a decision from the Swedish National Board of Health and Welfare to undergo practical training.
• Have Swedish language skills at least at level B2, which we assess as sufficient for practical training.
• Are a specialist physician.

Personal qualities

It is important that you work well with others, are receptive, and have a good approach towards patients and colleagues. You organize and prioritize your work effectively. Selection for the project is based on Region Dalarna's current need for specialist physicians. For example, if a health center is looking for a specialist physician in general medicine, this specialty will be prioritized in the selection of applications. However, it is crucial that all requirements and personal qualities are met.
