Nödinge Parish is located just north of Gothenburg, along the Göta River, and has approximately 5,100 members. We serve the community in Surte, Bohus, and Nödinge.

We are looking for a Kantor (100%)

Are you creative and want to help build the parish? Then we want to meet you!

You want to work where Jesus is at the center, involving services, ceremonies, choir work, and outreach activities.

A Category B driver's license is an asset, and membership in the Church of Sweden is required.

What we are looking for:

• Have a Kantor education or equivalent training.
• Can sing and play the organ and piano; knowledge of other instruments is an asset.
• Can lead both children's and adult choirs.
• Are social and outgoing.
• Enjoy meeting and working with people of all ages.

The role involves conducting ceremonies and services in our two churches as well as at the local nursing home. Throughout the year, the position also includes outreach work in our communities and confirmation classes.

This is a probationary position with the possibility of permanent employment. Start date is negotiable. The role includes evening work and weekend duties across the entire parish.
