Jakobi Sustainability AB offers high-quality consulting services within natural environment and environmental issues to privately owned companies and public clients. Our assignments range from nature inventories, status processes, and consultations to support in construction and implementation phases. We work closely with our customers in projects where environmental issues are crucial – legally, ecologically, and practically.

We are a growing company that is well-established in the industry. The number of employees varies slightly throughout the year; currently, we have about 18 employees. Our headquarters is located in Gothenburg, and we are represented in Uppsala, Kalmar, Jönköping, Luleå, and Malå.

About the Position

The focus of the position is sales and production management as well as leadership. You have personnel and budget responsibility and are part of the management group. You report directly to our CEO, Marie Jakobi. Currently, your team consists of 5 consultants in Uppsala and Kalmar respectively. You are expected to take an active role in developing the offices so that we become even more attractive and achieve our growth targets.

Your focus is on being an present manager who leads and develops the group, but you will also work part of your time as a consultant on assignments within your own area of expertise. Customer contacts, proposal writing, as well as execution and quality assurance of assignments are also part of the role.

Travel throughout Sweden by train (including night trains), bus, or car will occur in the position. In accordance with our travel policy, we avoid flying.

Your Experience

Most likely, you have a few years of experience working as a consultant in a sales-oriented role within one of our service areas. It is an advantage if you have previous experience in personnel responsibility. It is important that you enjoy collaborating with people and like relationship sales. It is an advantage if you have a large network.

We would prefer that you have post-secondary education in biology, environmental science, ecology, contaminated land, or an engineering degree in environment and sustainability.

As a person, you are unpretentious, solution-focused, communicative, and passionate about delivering good results according to set goals. You have an established contact network and enjoy social settings. You are just as brilliant at a sales meeting as you are a good listener together with your employees.

You like to build and hold teams together. You are driven, clear, structured, and receptive. We expect you to have a good ability and be able to express yourself well in speech and writing.

It is a requirement that you master the Swedish language at a very high written level, as our customers have these requirements for our deliveries. You also need to master English, as some projects include project meetings in English.
