About the role

The role of Electrical Engineer at Ahlstrom is a broad and varied position where you follow the entire chain – from idea to finished solution in operation. Examples of tasks include:

• Planning, designing, and documenting electrical and automation solutions
• Creating drawing documentation
• Contributing to investments and projects – from design to commissioning
• Supporting colleagues during equipment procurement and the installation phase
• Programming control systems

You will be part of the Technology and Maintenance department, consisting of about 50 employees with various specialist competencies who collaborate closely. You work close to the operations, which means you quickly see the results of your work. The work takes place on-site at the factory in Billingsfors.

Your profile

We are looking for you who have a technical background and a few years of experience from industrial operations.

We believe you have:

• Education in electrical engineering, or equivalent experience
• Experience with AutoCAD and/or Engineering Base
• Experience with PLC/SCADA, DCS
• Experience from process industry or other technically complex environments
• Experience in assembly or installation is an advantage
• Fluency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
