ABOUT THE ROLE:

Friday is looking for a Junior Automation Engineer for our client, a leading company in the automation industry. You will be based out of the office in Skövde, where you will be part of a team of around 20 people. Here you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and technically advanced environment with great variety. Since every project is unique, you will have the chance to work with exciting technology and customer-specific solutions.

You will, for example:

• Work with PLC programming within our client's exciting automation projects.
• Collaborate closely with the project team to ensure that every solution meets the desired specifications and quality requirements.
• Contribute your technical expertise and insights throughout the entire project lifecycle, from idea and design to installation and handover.
• Conduct test runs and commissioning both at our client's premises in Skövde and out at their customers' sites.
• Work with customers from various industries, including some of the most prominent companies in their respective fields.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO:

• Have completed post-secondary education in automation, mechatronics, or a similar field.
• Have good knowledge of PLC programming.
• Hold a valid driver's license (Category B).
• Are fluent in both Swedish and English, in speaking and writing, as both languages are used internally and externally.

It is an advantage if you have:

• Work experience as an automation engineer.
• Technical hobby projects within programming.
• Experience or knowledge in Robotics / Vision systems.
• Knowledge in electrical engineering and pneumatics.

Furthermore, great importance will be placed on personal suitability. We are looking for someone with a strong technical interest and a curiosity to learn more. We also believe that you are responsible and structured in your approach to work, and skilled at interacting, structuring, and synchronizing your work with others on the department. We also appreciate that you have a positive outlook and are easy to collaborate with and communicate with.

ABOUT THE EMPLOYMENT:

This is a consultancy assignment, which means that you will initially be employed by Friday, with the ambition to eventually become a permanent employee with our client.
