As part of our development, we are looking for an Electrical Engineer who wants to shape the future of electrical and automation solutions together with us.

About the role

The role of Electrical Engineer at Ahlstrom is broad and varied, covering the entire chain – from idea to operational solution. Examples of tasks include:

• Planning, designing, and documenting electrical and automation solutions
• Creating drawing documentation
• Contributing to investments and projects – from design to commissioning
• Supporting colleagues during equipment procurement and the installation phase
• Programming control systems

You will be part of the Technology and Maintenance Department, consisting of around 50 employees with various specialist competencies working closely together. You will work close to the operations, allowing you to quickly see the results of your work. The position is based onsite at the factory in Billingsfors.

Your profile

We are looking for someone with a technical background and a few years of experience from industrial operations.

We believe you have:

• Education in electrical engineering, or equivalent experience
• Experience with AutoCAD and/or Engineering Base
• Experience with PLC/SCADA, DCS
• Experience from process industry or other technically complex environments
• Experience in assembly or installation is an advantage
• Fluency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
