The Technology Department is a central support function within SMA Mineral, working closely with our production units, marketing department, and business development. Here, we contribute to the company's development through technical solutions, investments, and improvement projects.

We are now looking for a Technical Project Manager who wants to help develop our facilities and operations through both minor improvements and major investments. About the Role

As a Technical Project Manager, you lead projects that develop our facilities, processes, and products. The projects vary in scope, and you are responsible for the entire process, from preliminary studies and decision-making materials to implementation, follow-up, and handover.

The role involves many contact points, and you collaborate closely with production, marketing, suppliers, and to some extent external customers and other partners to find sustainable and business-oriented solutions. Safety is a natural part of operations and permeates all project work.

Your main responsibilities:

• Drive projects from idea to finished solution
• Conduct preliminary studies, analyses, and investigations
• Prepare decision-making materials, project plans, and technical documentation
• Coordinate internal and external resources through the various phases of the projects
• Ensure that projects are carried out according to schedule, budget, and quality requirements
• Follow up on economics, risks, and project results
• Provide technical support to the operations

You report to the Head of Technology. The role involves regular travel to our facilities, primarily in Sweden but also to operations in Norway and Finland. We believe in presence, both digital and physical, and offer flexibility with the possibility to combine office and remote work. A suitable place of residence is, for example, in Dalarna, Närke, Värmland, or Gästrikland, but this is not a requirement.

Who We Are Looking For

This is the role for you if you want to combine technology, analysis, and project management. Perhaps you currently work as a production technician or project engineer and want to take the step into a project management role, or you have experience leading technical projects and want to continue developing in a business-close environment.

We believe you have:

• A university degree in technology, or equivalent experience
• Experience driving or coordinating technical projects or complex technical issues
• Good understanding of economics
• Experience from industrial operations, process industry, or similar technical environments
• Good ability to plan and document your work
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

It is positive if you have experience with:

• Major investment or industrial projects
• Developing project processes, working methods, and structures
• Regulations and standards related to CE marking
• CAD and preparation of technical drawings and materials

As a person, you are a team player who enjoys collaborating and building good relationships with the people around you. You take responsibility, work in a structured manner, and have the drive to make things happen. At the same time, you are flexible and solution-oriented, with the ability to adapt when conditions change. Even when you have several projects running simultaneously, you manage to maintain both structure and a clear overall perspective.
