Your Role

Are you a newly graduated engineer who wants to work with technology that makes a difference? Do you want to understand how advanced technical systems function, are used, and are maintained throughout their entire lifecycle?

As a Junior ILS (Integrated Logistic Support) / Maintenance Engineer, you work to ensure that technical systems are available, reliable, and maintainable in an efficient manner. You will analyze how products are used in operation and contribute to creating solutions for maintenance, support, and spare parts supply.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to build knowledge in areas such as reliability, maintenance technology, lifecycle costs, and technical support. You will work together with experienced colleagues and gradually take on greater responsibility in projects and analyses.

You will collaborate closely with systems engineers, designers, production, maintenance organizations, and project teams to create long-term sustainable solutions for our products.

Examples of tasks:

• Participate in analyses related to reliability, availability, and maintenance.
• Contribute to the development of maintenance plans and maintenance concepts.
• Support work with spare parts management and optimization.
• Collect, structure, and analyze technical information.
• Participate in requirements work and verification of maintenance and support requirements.
• Collaborate with different engineering disciplines in development and product projects.
• Provide input for decisions regarding operation, support, and lifecycle management.

Here, you will have the opportunity to develop within a specialist area where technology, analysis, and business understanding meet. With support from experienced colleagues, you will build competence in lifecycle support and maintenance analysis for advanced technical systems.

Your Profile

We are looking for you who are a newly graduated engineer or have up to one year of work experience. You are curious, analytical, and enjoy understanding how technology works in practice.

You do not need to have worked with ILS before – the most important thing is that you have a technical interest, want to develop, and enjoy solving problems together with others. For us, your personal qualities are an important part of the overall assessment in this recruitment.

We are looking for you who have a university or civil engineering degree in, for example, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, industrial economics, technical physics, mechatronics, or a related technical field. You have a strong interest in technology and are driven by analyzing complex issues and finding effective solutions. As a person, you work in a structured and methodical way, with the ability to plan and prioritize your work independently. You express yourself fluently in both Swedish and English, both orally and in writing, and find it easy to collaborate and communicate with different functions and areas of expertise.

Merits:

• Thesis, project, or internship within technology, maintenance, production, or system development.
• Knowledge of reliability, maintenance technology, or lifecycle perspectives from studies.
• Experience in data analysis or technical calculations.

The position requires that you undergo and are approved according to current security clearance regulations. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail requirements for certain citizenship.
