About the role

In the role of Mechanical Designer, you will hold a central position in product development throughout their entire lifecycle. You will work with both new development and further development, responsible for creating sustainable and efficient design solutions while ensuring they meet high demands for quality and functionality.

You will handle design changes and ensure that product data and technical documentation are always updated according to current processes. The work involves close collaboration with project managers, production, procurement, and other functions, giving you a broad and varied role with many contact points.

You will become part of an engaged team where you are expected to take individual responsibility and contribute to the whole. Initiative, structure, and a desire to constantly improve methods and results are highly valued here.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Product development and mechanical design.
• Further development and maintenance of existing products.
• Handling design changes.
• Updating product data and technical documentation.
• Close collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Your profile

We are looking for you who have solid experience in mechanical design and are driven by working in a technology-intensive environment where precision and quality are crucial. You have built strong competence in the field and feel confident taking responsibility for your tasks and deliverables.

You thrive in a role where you can combine independent work with close collaboration in a team. As a person, you are structured, solution-oriented, and meticulous, with the ability to create momentum in your work. You are also communicative and find it easy to collaborate with different functions and contribute to a positive and result-focused team climate.

Requirements and merits:

• Several years of experience in mechanical design and high technical competence (specialist or broad generalist profile).
• Experience with CAD tools such as Creo, CATIA, or equivalent.
• Accustomed to working with product development in technically complex environments.
• Good understanding of change management and work with product structures.
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Meritorious: Experience with PLM systems or experience from regulated operations.

The position may be subject to security requirements, meaning you will need to undergo and be approved according to current regulations.
