Our external pediatric dental team has now been launched, and we are looking for more dedicated employees who want to strengthen and develop the team. The team's main task is to spread knowledge about diet and dental caries among the region's younger inhabitants. As part of the team, you will become a key resource across the entire county.

Work within external pediatric dentistry

A large part of the work involves visits to preschools and schools. Together as a team, you will hold lessons on diet and dental caries with the aim of giving children a good foundation for long-term good oral health. You will become an important part of fulfilling our goal that all children in our region have the right to receive the same information.

As part of the external pediatric dental team, you will be a key resource for knowledge transfer to the county's young patients. In this role, you will collaborate with other staff members within the team. There are currently three teams deployed in three different areas. The teams are already up and running and working across the entire county.

Your profile

We are looking for you who are a trained dental hygienist. We expect you to have good operational knowledge. Furthermore, you have a strong interest in working with children.

In accordance with the duties of the position, we would preferably see that you possess pedagogical skills. Since the age range of the target group is broad, it is also advantageous if you are flexible in your working methods.

Since the position involves teaching about oral hygiene and dietary habits in schools, we would preferably see that you feel comfortable in a classroom environment. You have good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in both Swedish and English. Since travel is involved in the position, a Category B driver's license is a requirement. We place great emphasis on personal suitability, quality awareness, and the willingness to contribute to a good work climate.

Our offer to you

The assignment in the pediatric dental team usually covers one day per week during school terms, i.e., 20%. During winter and summer holidays, you will work clinically. You are expected to remain in the position as a dental hygienist for the remaining time. The assignment lasts for a two-year period.
