About the job

We are now looking for a swimming instructor/bathing attendant for our operations.

In autumn, winter, and spring, we work in the indoor swimming pool, and during the summer at our outdoor pool, Framnäsbadet. Together with colleagues, you meet our guests and ensure that the swimming pool meets the expectations regarding service, cleanliness, and lifeguarding.

Responsibilities

As a swimming instructor and bathing attendant, you have a customer focus and work with swimming lessons, pool supervision, cash register, café, as well as maintenance and upkeep of the pool facility. With us, you help create a pleasant atmosphere and ensure safety for our pool guests. Together with management and other colleagues, you help develop the swimming and pool activities we have today.

The tasks are varied and no day is like the other. To meet our guests' wishes, we are open every day of the week, which means scheduled working hours every day of the week, including evenings and weekends.

Who are you?

We would like you to have a swimming instructor education, swimming instructor assistant education, or other equivalent education/experience that the employer deems relevant.

Experience leading baby swimming, water aerobics, cleaning and keeping clean in a pool environment, working with children and young people, and being or having been active in a sports association can be meritorious.

Experience in the profession is meritorious.

You must have basic computer skills.

Swimming proficiency is a requirement, and we conduct tests in swimming and lifesaving. To be considered for the position, you must pass these tests.

Personal suitability is given great weight.

Before being offered employment, you as a candidate are required to present an extract from the criminal record register when working in any of the following areas; school or preschool, work with children in other activities than school and childcare, work with children according to LSS (Act of Support and Service for Persons with Functional Impairments), work at or in connection with residential homes for youth (HVB-hem), work with elderly or persons with disabilities. You order the extract via the Police website. The extract must be presented before employment can begin.
