About the assignment

GSE Engineer, Level 2 (3 consultants)

Your role
As a GSE (Ground Support Equipment) maintenance engineer, your tasks will vary from investigation work to procurement preparation, and you will be responsible for the maintenance equipment used for one or several material groups. You will also ensure recurring maintenance needs for equipment on behalf of the client. You will have close contact with adjacent disciplines such as ILS, maintenance preparation, design, and technical information, and you will work closely with the marketing and procurement functions. It is through this collaboration that you contribute to carrying out our business assignments in the best possible way. In the longer term, there are opportunities to lead projects or assignments yourself, where you are expected to take economic responsibility for the complete business and follow it up in business and economic systems. The role may involve some travel to our branches in other locations, to our clients, and to the Swedish Armed Forces units.

Your profile
You have a university-level engineering degree or equivalent knowledge acquired in other ways, for example as a flight technician, or another technical background with a few years of relevant work experience. Since the position involves many contacts, we are looking for someone who finds it easy to work with other people and who enjoys creating and maintaining relationships. You will work with a wide range of tasks in a dynamic environment, and we therefore expect you to have the ability to adapt to changed circumstances. You structure your own work with good judgment and have a business-like approach. You handle Swedish and English well in speech and writing and hold a driver's license with at least category B.

Merits include experience with maintenance systems, requirement management, GSE, and ILS (Integrated Logistic Support), as well as good ability to read and understand mechanical design documentation.

The assignment may be subject to defense secrecy, which implies a requirement for Swedish citizenship and approval of a security investigation conducted by the authorities.
