Your Role

In the role of Laser Operator at the sheet metal workshop, you will work in a small group responsible for, among other things, a CNC-controlled laser cutting machine. You will have primary responsibility for laser cutting but will remain flexible to support other CNC-controlled machines as needed. Your tasks consist of laser cutting, and you will work with various metals such as aluminum, titanium, and stainless steel. You are responsible for setup, operation, maintenance, and post-processing tasks such as sawing, deburring, and polishing parts.

The work is primarily conducted on a two-shift system, but other shift patterns may occur.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who thrives as part of a team where collaboration is essential for the whole to function. At the same time, you must be able to work independently and take personal responsibility. Attention to detail and structure are highly valued, as you will ultimately be responsible for approving your own work. To succeed in this role, experience with CNC and/or laser cutting is required. The position also requires proficiency in both Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

The position requires you to undergo and pass the security clearance checks according to current regulations. For positions where Saab requires security classification, this may, in some cases, entail citizenship requirements.
