We are the agency responsible for prisons, probation, remand prisons, and prisoner transport.

Job Description

Studies, crime and substance abuse programs, as well as work in laundry, wood carpentry, printing, and assembly are examples of operations in our ambition to assist inmates in achieving better outcomes.

In this role as Production Manager, you will lead and participate in the development of operations within the CNC area. You are responsible for leading and distributing the work of the inmates and ensuring that planned production goals are met. You will participate in customer contacts, job acquisition, and preparation/planning. You may also need to step in as a Production Manager in other areas if the need arises.

Furthermore, you will contribute to maintaining security and ensuring that safety regulations regarding machinery and other workplace safety regulations are followed. You are involved in the daily work and show and instruct the inmates in both work tasks and behavior, attitudes, and values. The position does not involve personnel responsibility, but only work leadership of the inmates.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is clear in their communication and thrives both in group collaboration and independent work. As a person, you are flexible, stress-resistant, and proactive. You have a positive view of people, good empathy skills, and can handle conflicts in a constructive way. Through your pedagogical experience, you have a good understanding of how people absorb knowledge and of individuals' different prerequisites. You can adapt your way of conveying messages based on the recipient and situation. You are calm, stable, and clear in your communication and ensure that information reaches all relevant parties. You have good judgment and the ability to make correct assessments and prioritizations. The position also requires physical capability to act physically when the situation demands it.

We are looking for you who have:

• Complete upper secondary education in the form of final grades or a high school diploma, or alternatively other education combined with work experience that the Swedish Prison and Probation Service considers relevant.
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written
• Category B driver's license

The following is also meritorious:

• Work experience in a supervisory role
• Experience within CNC
• Experience with troubleshooting within CNC
• Experience in pedagogical work
• Experience in motivational work
• Work experience within the prison and probation service, security work, social care, psychiatry, or care and support work
