Your Role

As an operator of manually controlled machines, you play a vital role in our production by performing high-precision work. Your responsibilities include careful and efficient machining, where you independently handle fixturing and measurement of parts. You will also collaborate with others to ensure all parts meet established requirements. The work is diverse and varied, offering you the opportunity to develop within different aspects of precision machining.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who is meticulous and strives to meet set requirements and goals. Since the work is largely independent, we believe you are self-motivated and capable of taking ownership. We also see you as a problem solver with strong analytical skills, who is receptive and has good collaboration skills.

We seek candidates with experience in cutting tools and good knowledge of setups and measurements. You should also have a good understanding of reading drawings, as well as form and position tolerances. Experience with conventional machines, as well as knowledge of measuring techniques and various materials, is considered an asset.

Other requirements for the position:

• Minimum of 5 years of workshop experience.
• Good proficiency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.
• Good computer skills and experience with ERP/Sharp.
• Completed high school education; additional qualifications in industrial technology are meritorious.

The work hours are during the day, and the location is Tannefors, Linköping.

The position requires you to undergo and pass the security clearance checks in accordance with current regulations. For positions where Saab requires security classification, this may, in some cases, entail citizenship requirements.
