This advertisement covers all vacant positions – both permanent positions and fixed-term contracts longer than 6 months. Recruitment is ongoing based on the current needs of the operations. Additionally, we are now making a strategic investment in elderly care and increasing the number of nursing assistants in our care and social housing facilities.

Job Responsibilities

As a nursing assistant, you provide care and support based on each care recipient's individual needs. The work is characterized by responsibility, commitment, and professional interaction.

Examples of job responsibilities:

• Personal care such as assistance with hygiene, showering, toilet visits, and dressing
• Medical interventions delegated by licensed personnel, e.g., blood sugar testing and wound dressing
• Practical support in daily life such as cooking, cleaning, shopping, and laundry
• Documentation of performed interventions in the journal system
• Contact and collaboration with relatives as well as other professional groups within the administration

You motivate and encourage care recipients to maintain their independence and work in close collaboration with, among others, home healthcare services, rehabilitation teams, and social workers.

Choose the operation that suits you best

Explore our different operations to see where you can make the biggest difference and where you fit best:

• Home Care Service: You work independently in the care recipient's home and travel by bicycle or car. There is an opportunity to work during daytime hours (07:00–15:30) or evening hours (15:00–23:00).
• Care and Social Housing: You work in a team and provide care, support, and supervision in our housing facilities. Working hours are scheduled for daytime and evening shifts (06:45–16:00 or 12:00–22:00), meaning you need to be able to work both day and evening shifts.
• Short-term Housing: You meet care recipients who stay in one of our facilities for a limited period, for example, after a hospital stay. Working hours are scheduled for daytime and evening shifts (06:45–16:00 or 12:00–22:00), meaning you need to be able to work both day and evening shifts.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

• Has proof of a protected professional title as a nursing assistant from the National Board of Health and Welfare, or a certificate of permanent employment as a nursing assistant as of July 1, 2023
• Has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Has good digital skills and can document in digital systems
• Can cycle, and in some cases has a B-driver's license (required for some positions in home care)
• Experience within care and social services is a requirement for short-term housing and night shifts

Meritorious:

• Experience in dementia care and/or person-centered care
• Experience with systems such as LifeCare, Procapita, Flexite, Senior Alert, or BPSD
• Multilingualism
