Our Operations

On Intermediate Care Ward 70F (IMA 70F), we provide clinic-neutral intermediate care. We care for patients from all departments who require intensive treatment and/or a level of monitoring that cannot be provided on other hospital wards.

Your Role

As a Nursing Assistant (Undersköterska) at IMA, you will work with monitoring and treating organ failure in patients where the need for monitoring cannot be met on a standard ward. You will work in pairs together with a nurse, responsible for two patients jointly with doctors from intensive care and/or internal medicine. The work is based on very close and tight collaboration between all professional categories. Here, you can expect a varied job with challenging tasks, where you have good opportunities to gain a holistic understanding of your patients' conditions.

Being a Nursing Assistant at IMA is an exciting job where you will meet people in many different situations and medical conditions. Here, you can expect a wide variety of patient groups and diagnoses, and you will have the opportunity to gain broad knowledge and experience with patients. Our specialty is our breadth! The level of care is more advanced than a standard ward, both in terms of the patients' condition and the technical equipment. You will become part of a skilled group that supports and helps each other, while you will also work independently.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for you who are trained as a Nursing Assistant and have proof of the protected professional title, or have applied for it. Experience in hospital care is meritorious, as is previous work in emergency care and/or intensive care, but this is not a requirement.

We see that you are confident in your professional role and comfortable caring for patients with failing vital functions. As a person, you are engaged, positive, and actively contribute to a good work environment. You work meticulously, take responsibility for your tasks, and have a desire to develop professionally.

What We Offer

We offer permanent employment or temporary full-time positions with a start date as agreed. You will receive onboarding based on your previous experience, usually 4-5 weeks. We have rotational shifts and apply the hospital's point model for scheduling (which includes, among other things, more flexible working hour reductions and good opportunities for recovery).
