Our 1,800 employees work with primary care and health in Uppsala County. We offer a wide range of services within primary care. Our patients meet us at Region Uppsala's own health centres or within habilitation services, and we provide telephone advice via 1177. Nurse Position at Östervåla Health Centre

We invite you to apply for the position of Nurse at Östervåla Health Centre! We are a small health centre with big opportunities, and we are looking for you who want to develop together with us. We offer a permanent full-time position, with a start date by agreement. A probationary period may apply.

Your Role

You will work with healthcare for both children and adults. The position includes standard nursing duties such as running your own clinic, telephone advice, and home visits. We actively work to improve patient flows through triage and booking for all professions. Quality development of our operations is an integral part of your work.

As a nurse at the health centre, you will be part of a competent and friendly team. You will collaborate with all professions at the health centre. Working in a team means we help each other, communicate, and continuously develop our competence together.

Your Competence

We are looking for you who are a registered nurse, and previous experience from primary care is an advantage.

As a person, you are good at planning, organizing, and prioritizing work in an efficient manner, and you must also be flexible in your working methods. The job requires good teamwork skills and enjoyment of working in a team, as well as the ability to work independently.

Our Operations

Östervåla is located in beautiful agricultural and forest countryside in Heby Municipality, northwest of Uppsala. The health centre has 32 dedicated employees consisting of doctors, district nurses, nurses, assistant nurses, medical secretaries, physiotherapists, dietitians, psychologists, and social workers. We are responsible for 6,300 registered patients. The operations also include the district nurse clinic in Tärnsjö. We work based on the patient and strongly focus on quality and patient safety.

The health centre belongs to the Primary Care and Health administration in Region Uppsala. We want you to thrive and develop with us.
