In this role, you will have a key position in developing and modernizing the building management for the municipality's entire portfolio of schools, preschools, nursing homes, and sports facilities.

The Property Department is responsible for providing suitable premises for the municipality's entire operations – from education and childcare to elderly care and sports. We manage a portfolio of approximately 270,000 sqm distributed across about 200 buildings, and we are approximately 150 employees organized into five units: projects, administration, property development, cleaning, and operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The position is located within the Property Department's project unit, and you will work both independently and together with colleagues to develop the control and regulation installations within the HVAC field. The role is varied and requires technical breadth, as you will be involved from the early idea stage to the finished system.

Your responsibilities include, among other things:

• Responsible for and developing design guidelines within the installation field
• Act as a technical expert during feasibility studies, design, and implementation
• Participate in review, testing, commissioning, inspection, and follow-up
• Actively contribute to the operations unit's development work
• Collaborate with administrators, operations technicians, energy coordinators, designers, and contractors
• Participate in projects focused on control and regulation technology
• Contribute to the development of the municipality's overarching SCADA system (multiple manufacturers are used)
• Participate in operational, energy, and technical issues
• Drive energy efficiency and media development
• Be a driving force in the municipality's continued journey within building automation

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who have:

• Post-secondary education focused on control and regulation technology or equivalent experience
• A few years of experience as an automation engineer
• Valid driver's license (Category B)
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

Meritorious if you also have:

• Experience with plumbing installations and project management for installation projects
• Practical and theoretical knowledge of building operations
• Knowledge of BBR, AMA Plumbing and Cooling, AMA Electrical, and energy work including AI optimization
• Experience with contract law

You are self-reliant, structured, and responsible with strong technical competence. You handle multiple assignments in parallel and make well-founded prioritizations. With your holistic view, you always act in the best interest of the operations and build trust with colleagues and external parties. You thrive in a job that combines technical problem-solving with close collaboration, and you are equally comfortable in the control center and machine room as you are in the project room.
