We are now looking for a Project Manager within Property and Facilities for our client in the MedTech sector in Uppsala. The desired start date is August 24, 2026. This is a consultancy assignment for an initial period of 4 months, where you will be employed as a consultant via The Place and work at our client's site.

About the role

As a Project Manager, you will be a key person in driving and developing business-critical property and facility projects in a regulated production environment. The role combines project management with technical understanding and involves close collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure that projects are carried out with high quality, within given timeframes, and according to current requirements and processes.

You will work on both ongoing and new projects, where one of the priority areas is the development of the facility's water quality.

Your main responsibilities

  • Drive business-critical property and facility projects from initiation to completion.
  • Lead projects with a focus on transitioning and improving the water quality at the facility.
  • Support ongoing and upcoming property projects.
  • Be responsible for project documentation.
  • Conduct and follow up on risk assessments.
  • Coordinate smaller construction and renovation works.
  • Ensure efficient project execution in regulated production environments.

We are looking for someone who

  • Has documented experience in project management within technical, facility, or engineering environments.
  • Has experience working with risk management and ensuring compliance with quality requirements and regulations.
  • Has experience in project budgeting, cost control, and project documentation.
  • Is accustomed to coordinating and communicating with various stakeholders throughout the different phases of a project.
  • Has an engineering degree or equivalent education in a relevant field.

Merits

  • Experience in water production and/or water treatment systems.
  • Knowledge of validation within medical technology production according to ISO 13485.
  • Experience in construction or renovation of facilities.

You are a structured and solution-oriented project manager who thrives on taking responsibility and driving projects forward. You have good communication skills and are used to collaborating with many different stakeholders. Furthermore, you work methodically, have a strong focus on quality, and feel confident leading projects in technically complex environments.
