The Maintenance Department is in an exciting phase of development and is currently strengthening its operations. Therefore, we are looking for more employees who want to contribute to our continued growth.

Your Role

Uppsalahem's Maintenance Department is in an exciting phase of development and is now seeking more project managers to drive our maintenance projects. As a Maintenance Project Manager, you are responsible for planning, leading, and executing projects within our existing housing portfolio, from project planning through to completion and handover.

The projects vary in scope and content but often consist of maintenance measures within specific technical areas such as roofs, windows, facades, relining, installations, or other planned maintenance interventions. You manage multiple projects simultaneously and hold overall responsibility for the projects' economics, schedule, quality, and execution.

You work closely with property managers, contractors, consultants, and other internal functions to ensure that projects are carried out in a business-like, efficient, and sustainable manner. Many of our projects are carried out with tenants remaining in their homes, which requires good planning, communication, and coordination.

Main Responsibilities:

• Plan, lead, and follow up on multiple projects simultaneously
• Coordinate project teams, internal functions, consultants, contractors, and other relevant stakeholders
• Responsible for project execution based on established goals for quality, economics, and time
• Participate in procurement processes together with Uppsalahem's purchasing department
• Work according to Uppsalahem's project process and contribute to the development of common working methods

Who Are You?

You have experience from the construction and/or real estate industry and thrive when taking responsibility, coordinating various actors, and driving issues forward. Perhaps you work as a project manager today, or you have experience in a related role and wish to develop further within project management. Regardless of your background, you have a structured approach, good collaboration skills, and an interest in creating results through others.

You are business-minded, solution-oriented, and confident in your dialogue with both contractors and internal clients. At the same time, you have good collaboration skills and build trust through clear communication and a professional approach. You appreciate the variety that comes from working on multiple projects simultaneously and have the ability to quickly switch between different issues and project phases.

The Maintenance Department is in a development phase where working methods, roles, and processes continue to evolve. Therefore, we believe you will also thrive in a changing environment where you have the opportunity to influence and contribute to the development of the business.

We are looking for someone who has:

• A university/college education in construction, real estate, urban planning, or a similar field.
• A few years of experience from the construction or real estate industry
• Experience in procurement and working according to AB/ABT, preferably also LOU (Public Procurement Act)
• Good communication skills in Swedish, both verbal and written
• A valid driver's license (Category B)

Meritorious is experience of working with tenants remaining in place during maintenance projects and having worked within municipal or public operations.
