We develop, manage, and maintain a floor space of over 760,000 square meters, ranging from new advanced healthcare buildings to medieval castles. We also handle transportation and work on logistical solutions within Region Uppsala, as well as being responsible for meal services for inpatients. Most of our customers are within healthcare, and our largest customer is Akademiska Sjukhuset. Our Operations

We are currently in an exciting, expansive period where new construction and extensive renovations are taking place in the hospital area. At Property and Services Region Uppsala, you will work in a healthcare environment, specifically within the area of Akademiska Sjukhuset. You will receive varied, interesting, and responsible tasks in an environment with competent colleagues and a diversity of technical systems.

The Department of Property Operations is a unit within the Property and Services administration. We are approximately 80 employees responsible for the operation and maintenance of Region Uppsala's properties. You will belong to the Plumbing and HVAC group, which consists of 14 employees managing daily operations regarding plumbing, refrigeration, and medical gases in Region Uppsala's property portfolio.

Your Role

The work is varied, involves a lot of problem-solving, and you have great opportunities to steer your own work as well as propose suggestions and improvements where you see needs and opportunities. You will work with operation, supervision, and maintenance, corrective maintenance, and operational service of the buildings' refrigeration and recycling systems.

The work also includes troubleshooting and emergency corrective measures on the hospital's refrigeration systems. The role also encompasses energy-improving measures. The position includes on-call duties, and in the long term, you may join the on-call team.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for you who are interested in property technology and thrive in a varied environment where you encounter both new and old, simple and complex.

Requirements

• You hold a Category 1 refrigeration certificate.
• You have at least three years of experience as a refrigeration technician.
• You are proficient in using the computer as a work tool.
• You speak and write very good Swedish.
• You have a Category B driver's license.

Meritorious

• Experience in service and repair of white goods.
• Experience in control/regulation systems.

Your Competence

As a person, you have good social competence with a positive attitude and are sensitive to the customer's needs. You have good prioritization skills and are quality-conscious in your work. You take responsibility for your own work while being accustomed to, and enjoying, working in a team. Personal suitability will be given great weight.

The position is full-time and permanent, with a start date as agreed. The location is Akademiska Sjukhuset, which is your primary workplace, but the role also includes handling cases throughout Region Uppsala's property portfolio, for which you will be provided with a service vehicle.
