ICA Kvantum Skövde is looking for a Cook for the hot kitchen

ICA Kvantum in Skövde is a family-owned business with approximately 70 employees.

At ICA Kvantum, we work continuously to be Skövde's most modern grocery store.

We have now completed our renovation of the entire store and are ready to take the next step towards becoming Skaraborg's most modern grocery store, focusing on food and meal solutions.

Responsibilities:

• As a cook with us, you will be part of our production team for the hot kitchen.
• In our hot kitchen, our main production consists of portioned meals that we prepare and chill. Our range includes home-style cooking, weekend boxes, innovative dishes, and high variety, all driven by a passion for food.
• You will play a key role alongside the production teams in the cold and hot kitchens to ensure an efficient production flow, adhere to set calculations and budgets, and help inspire customers with our product range.
• We prefer candidates with experience in self-control procedures (HACCP), as this is part of the job.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a burning interest and experience with food and cooking.
• Can convey food and product knowledge to customers and colleagues.
• Is structured and has a strong awareness of quality.
• Wants to help create and develop the future range of our self-produced products together with your direct manager.

You are a person with initiative and strong positive energy that is contagious. You see customer needs with joy and provide the best customer service. You must be able to handle stressful situations and have the ability to see the big picture in your work. You should be structured, organized, enjoy development, be engaged, and work well in a team.

Qualifications:

• Experience and competence in retail sales or the restaurant industry.
• Knowledge and training in hygiene and self-control procedures.
• Cooking experience or culinary education.

We are looking for one person, and the position is approximately 95% of a full-time role. Working hours are currently scheduled for weekdays, but may change to weekends as the store is open seven days a week. We offer a permanent position with an initial 6-month probation period.
