Norrqvarn has long been an attractive tourist destination in the summer, hosting both national and international guests who come to visit to experience and enjoy the Göta Canal, nature, activities, good food, and create beautiful memories. Norrqvarn is the perfect base to explore the surrounding area. We offer a variety of accommodations: hotel rooms, glamping tents, unique stumps, and mushroom-shaped cabins. The summer restaurant serves all day, from breakfast to lunch to dinner. On-site, you will also find the popular mini-canal, an ice cream kiosk, and bicycle and canoe rentals.

Are you interested in food, open to development, and like to keep a close eye on things in the kitchen? We are looking for someone who wants to help create a truly great experience for our guests this summer. You should be cooperative, open, and flexible, and contribute to a positive work environment around you. We are looking for someone with previous experience who has a passion for food and thinks it sounds very fun to take on this challenge. The restaurant is open for both lunch and dinner service. You will become an important part of the kitchen team and work in a business where a lot happens from morning until evening.

Opportunities for continued employment after the season are available for the right person, based in central Mariestad.

Responsibilities

• Cooking and plating with a focus on quality and pace
• Preparations, planning, and collaboration within the kitchen team
• Participate in developing routines and working methods
• Ensure hygiene, order, and a good kitchen flow

We are looking for someone who

• Has previous experience as a cook (merit)
• Is flexible, cooperative, and contributes to a positive work environment
• Enjoys a fast-paced environment but still wants to deliver quality
• Can communicate fluently in English (required), Swedish is an advantage

Requirement for reliable commuting: either own car or walking/cycling distance.
