You are part of the team As Head Chef at Mei Rose, you are a vital part of the whole – where collaboration, care, and quality are at the center. At Liseberg, no one is strong alone, and you are a present team player who puts both colleagues and guests first.

You lead and support the kitchen team, with a clear focus on creating an authentic and high-quality Chinese dining experience. At the same time, you are part of something bigger – where our core values of care, creativity, safety, quality, and joy permeate everything we do.

This is what a typical day looks like No two days are alike – but you are always close to the operations.

You work operationally in the kitchen together with the team, supporting staff in their daily work and ensuring that both quality and pace are maintained all the way to the guest. You are there as a sounding board, solve challenges along the way, and contribute to a positive atmosphere in the kitchen.

At the same time, you are involved in planning, staffing, and development, and collaborate closely with the area manager, colleagues within F&B, and other functions.

Today's to-do: create magic, by:

• Leading the team in daily kitchen operations

• Ensuring high and consistent quality

• Being present for both employees and guests

• Contributing to an authentic Chinese dining experience

• Participating in menu and work method development

• Being involved in staffing planning

• Responsible for purchasing, inventory, and cost control

• Ensuring routines, legal requirements, and hygiene

• Strengthening collaboration within the team and organization

Do you have what it takes for the ride?

• Documented experience in qualified restaurant work and experience in a Head Chef role

• Documented competence in Chinese cuisine (e.g., regional cuisines, techniques, ingredient knowledge)

• Experience in leadership, coaching, and/or team building

• Good understanding of economics and business management
