Your Workplace

As a pool cook, you are a vital resource in the municipality's meal services. You work in several of our kitchens within preschools, schools, and elderly care, supporting operations during absences, peak workloads, and other staffing needs.

No two days are alike. You will have the opportunity to get to know many workplaces, meet different colleagues, and use your full professional expertise in varying environments.

Your Responsibilities

The role involves preparing and serving nutritious and tasty meals, handling special diets, working with self-control and food safety, and contributing to the smooth operation of the unit you are assigned to each day.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

• Education from the Hotel and Restaurant Programme or other education and experience that the employer considers equivalent.
• Good knowledge of cooking and food handling.
• Good experience with special diets and self-control procedures.
• Category B driver's license and access to a private car.

Merits

It is an advantage if you have experience working with Mashie or other diet data programs.
