About the position

As a service staff member in the Cathedral Unit, you will have a broad range of service duties, including baking, cooking, and serving coffee, light lunches, and dinners for both small and large groups. The role also includes some cleaning and maintenance of the premises.

You will have the opportunity to plan and prepare lunches and dinners for guests, both on weekdays and weekends. Therefore, experience in cooking is desirable and considered an asset.

The role includes administrative tasks, such as ordering supplies, handling invoices, and working in the booking system. During the fixed-term contract, you will contribute to maintaining daily operations together with your colleagues.

You will become part of a team of service staff and an important part of the cathedral's work team, working both in the church and in the parish center. This means a varied work environment and collaboration with colleagues with different competencies. A central part of the assignment is to contribute to good hospitality and a welcoming environment for everyone who visits the activities.

We are looking for you who:

• Have experience from café or restaurant operations, preferably with education in kitchen and restaurant services
• Have knowledge of food hygiene
• Have experience in cooking (meritorious)
• Are capable of independently preparing lunches and dinners for both small and large groups
• Are service-oriented and want to contribute to a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere
• Are flexible and adapt easily to varying tasks and pace
• Have a positive attitude and enjoy working with people
• Are a member of the Church of Sweden, share its values, and wish to be part of the operations

It is an advantage if you are proficient in languages other than Swedish and English.

• Scope: 100%, fixed-term contract until January 31, 2027.
• Start date: according to agreement
