Our chef is on long-term sick leave, and we are now looking for a replacement to manage the kitchen in the meantime. We are not sure how long this will last, but we expect it to cover the autumn semester, possibly longer.

We are looking for someone with experience working independently in a kitchen, including menu planning and ordering. Food pedagogy is important to us, and previous experience working with children and/or in preschool kitchens is considered an asset.

Familjelyckan is a small parent cooperative with a strong focus on highlighting children's individual abilities through a combination of sibling groups and age-based divisions, led by a secure pedagogical team.

Here, you will find high trust in your abilities and ample opportunity to collaborate with colleagues to shape the operations. As a parent cooperative, close cooperation with parents is important to us. Parents do not work in the daily operations but contribute with cleaning, maintenance, and similar tasks.

Familjelyckan operates as both a preschool and an after-school program, meaning children can start with us when they are ready for preschool and remain under the guidance of the same pedagogical team for as long as they need childcare.

The preschool operates in its own villa with 2–3 pedagogues on each floor. The after-school program is a separate unit with two pedagogues in different premises, but during the first and last hours of the day, we combine the operations.

As the person in charge of the kitchen, you will become part of the team, eat together with the children, and are welcome to contribute to the development of our food pedagogy based on your experience and ideas.
