Your Responsibilities
What You Will Be Working With
Would you like to work where a historic castle environment meets modern gastronomy and personal service? At Teleborg Castle, we create memorable experiences for our guests through well-composed dishes, thoughtful service, and an atmosphere that combines everyday luxury with something truly special. We are now looking for an experienced and engaged waiter/waitress to join our team. The role is varied and covers both the restaurant and the hotel, with the majority of your time spent in the restaurant. Since the team at the castle is small, everyone also has some duties in the hotel, including guest check-in and check-out. You will have varying working hours, mostly in the evenings and every other weekend. Day shifts occur in connection with conferences and lunch service, providing a varied daily routine where tasks may shift.
The position begins with a six-month probationary period. Working hours vary throughout the year; some periods, such as the Christmas party season, are more intensive, while others are calmer. To create balance, we use a time bank system.
We of course have a collective agreement and apply individual salary setting.

Who Do We Think You Are?
We are looking for you who have previous experience in serving and feel confident in your professional role. We believe you do not need to be trained from scratch, but can quickly get into the work and contribute to the operations. Experience with fine dining is a big plus, and additional merit is given if you have knowledge and interest in beverages. As a person, you are social, extroverted, and enjoy meeting guests, while also having the poise and ability to handle situations that may arise, such as complaints, in a professional and secure manner.
At our place, we work without hierarchy in a small team where everyone helps out where needed. We are therefore looking for you who are flexible and have a natural drive to contribute to the whole, whether you are standing in the dining room, working with conference guests, or meeting hotel guests at the reception.
We would like you to want to develop in your role and eventually take on greater responsibility.
