Job Responsibilities

In the role of Cook, you will participate in varied daily tasks in the large-scale kitchen. Your duties include, among other things, preparing lunches and side dishes, as well as serving meals. Other tasks may include unpacking incoming deliveries. Additionally, post-service work in the kitchen such as dishwashing and cleaning is included. Some documentation within the kitchen is also required.

An important part of the job is the professional treatment of diners, colleagues, and striving for positive collaboration with other staff groups within the unit where you work. You are part of the kitchen team. You have regular contact with the unit manager, who is also your direct supervisor. Key focus areas for all employees in the Service Department are customer awareness, collaboration, dialogue, and quality.

Qualifications and Merits

We are looking for you who have a 3-year restaurant and food education or equivalent. You have previous experience working in a large-scale kitchen.

Requirements:

• Have necessary knowledge of meal service in large households/institutions.
• Have good knowledge of food hygiene.
• Speak and write Swedish fluently.
• Valid driver's license.

Merits:

• Good computer skills.
• Previous experience working in a large-scale kitchen.
• Knowledge of diet data programs.

The ideal candidate sees service as a matter of course, is self-initiating, and has an easy time collaborating. You perform your work with great engagement, contributing to creating positive dining experiences in schools, preschools, and elderly care.

About the Employment

Type of employment: Permanent.
