Logistics Administrator, G4 to Bergslagens Artillery Regiment, A 9

Do you want to be part of building one of the new regiments that the Swedish Armed Forces has been tasked with establishing?

The Government has decided to increase defense capabilities by re-establishing several regiments, including Bergslagens Artillery Regiment, A 9, in Kristinehamn.

The regiment will be responsible for training two to three artillery battalions, including those for brigades in southern Sweden.

We are now looking for a Logistics Administrator for the Regimental Staff at Bergslagens Artillery Regiment, A 9.

Main Responsibilities

As a Logistics Administrator, you will be part of the logistics department G4 within the regimental staff.

You will work to ensure that materiel is available to the unit's various components and for their tasks.

You will handle the needs assessment of materiel for the unit parts trained at A9 and monitor materiel supply.

You will work on needs assessment for personal equipment for personnel assigned to A9.

You are responsible for issuing directives and supporting the unit's components with inventory of materiel in use.

You coordinate, execute, and follow up on orders within the framework of supply logistics.

You participate in recurring logistics meetings for coordination within the garrison.

You maintain contact with other parts of the Swedish Armed Forces, including A8 in Boden, the Army Staff, the Technology and Maintenance Office for Ground Materiel (TVK Mark), and FMLOG.

You monitor the department's functional mailbox.

Other logistics tasks, such as monitoring materiel status, etc.

A 9 is in the establishment and development phase, and the materiel service is therefore undergoing strong development. The work will be varied, and tasks may change over time.

Health care and physical training are a natural part of the work for all personnel in the Swedish Armed Forces. You train for 3 hours during working hours based on your own personal goals.

Requirements/Qualifications

  • Completed upper secondary education.
  • Work experience within logistics.
  • Completed military basic training (VPL).
  • Good experience with computer-based work, especially in Excel and Word.
  • Experience in planning and coordination work.
  • Category B driver's license.

Personal Attributes

You like lists, spreadsheets, and have good administrative skills. You are able to work independently and take initiative.

You have an easy time explaining to others how to use our support systems to meet their materiel needs. You are positive and have very good analytical skills.

Your work reflects accuracy, structure, and you thrive with routines. You have the ability to quickly adapt to new conditions and tasks, working both short-term and long-term.

Since the position involves both internal and external contacts, you should also have the ability to create, maintain, and develop good relationships and collaborations.

You are flexible and open to hands-on work when required.

Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.

Meritorious Qualifications

  • Experience working in database systems such as SAP (PRIO), LIFT, RSF, and LOGFAS.
  • Experience working in the Swedish Armed Forces, e.g., as a quartermaster, logistician at a logistics unit, Army Staff, or within FMLOG.
  • Previous experience in logistics and materiel management.
  • Previous work within the Swedish Armed Forces or other government agencies.
