Do you want to make a real impact and create change? Here you contribute to creating security for people and societies. What you do matters.

Your Role

As an Optronics Engineer with us, you will become a key part of a team that develops and delivers advanced optronic systems, ranging from missiles and sights to civilian applications. Our technical expertise covers the entire chain, from system design, sensors, and algorithm development to software development for optronic systems.

Many of our projects place high demands on real-time performance, making the work both challenging and developmental. The role offers great flexibility and variety, meaning you can work within several product areas and take on tasks that match your interests and strengths.

Tasks may include, for example:

  • Developing new optronic seekers
  • Driving pilot studies to explore new technology and new business opportunities
  • Implementing, optimizing, and testing image processing algorithms
  • Participating throughout the entire development chain, from customer contact to verification of finished systems

Our strength is our flexibility, where we can offer stimulating tasks as well as development opportunities within several areas. The work will therefore largely be adapted to your competence, experience, and interest. At Dynamics, we work within many technical fields, providing good opportunities to take on new challenges in the long term within our own organization or Saab, whether in terms of deepening technical expertise or taking on a more leading role.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to current security clearance regulations. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail requirements for specific citizenship.

Your Profile

We are looking for you who have a few years of experience in image processing, optical sensors, or IR technology, and who thrive in close collaboration with colleagues. You are curious, solution-oriented, and comfortable with varying tasks.

We would like you to have:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Technical Physics, Computer Science, or equivalent, preferably with a focus on image processing or optical sensors
  • Good knowledge of C/C++ and software development in a Linux environment, and/or good knowledge of optronic sensors and optics and experience with MATLAB/Python
  • Good proficiency in Swedish and English

What You Will Be Part Of

Discover endless possibilities. Take on challenges, create smart innovations, and upgrade your skills. This is a place for clever thinkers, brave pioneers, and everyone in between. Together we achieve the extraordinary, each bringing their unique perspective. Every contribution counts.
