We are looking for a Sustainability Coordinator for an investment project within the transport sector. This is a consulting assignment based in Stockholm.
The position is at 40% of full-time.
The assignment involves close collaboration with the client, which places high demands on flexibility and teamwork skills.
The Assignment
The project is working on developing specifications and other documentation, with procurement planned to start after the new year. The Sustainability Coordinator will formulate and review requirements within their area of expertise. After award, the supplier will be followed up regarding set requirements for environmental and social sustainability.
Responsibilities
- Formulate and review requirements regarding environmental and social sustainability.
- Be responsible for the project's plans concerning environmental and social sustainability.
- Be responsible for reporting the project's status regarding environmental and social sustainability according to Trafikverket's (TF) current routines.
- Review design solutions with regard to set environmental requirements.
- Follow up and evaluate compliance with environmental requirements.
- Follow up on the supplier's work to ensure the supply chain adheres to the project's requirements for social sustainability.
- Conduct relevant audits as needed together with the project's quality manager.
The environmental consultant reports to the project manager.
Requirements (OBS, mandatory)
- Fluent Swedish in speech and writing.
- At least 9 years of documented work experience as an environmental coordinator for rail vehicle projects.
- At least 3 years of documented experience in audit work as an audit leader/auditor (planning, execution, and follow-up) within rail vehicles.
- Completed certification course in ISO 14001 with a passing grade.
- Verified with a certificate of education attached to the bid.
Merits
- At least 5 years of documented experience as an environmental coordinator on the client side for delivery projects within rail vehicles in the main delivery phase (construction to commissioning).
- At least 3 years of documented work experience in being responsible for follow-up of social sustainability within rail vehicles or a similar industry.
- At least 5 years of documented experience working with the REACH regulation (No 1907/2006).

- Strong communication skills, both internally and externally, and the ability to tailor communication to the target group.
- Strong social skills, easy to build contacts and collaborate.
