Kitchen Assistant / Cook Wanted for Day Activity Center Sjöbrisen in Örnsberg

Our current cook/homemaker is retiring, and we are now looking for a new colleague who wants to contribute to our guests' well-being through good food and service.

About the Position

Day Activity Center Sjöbrisen in Örnsberg hosts 16 elderly guests per day. As a kitchen assistant/cook, you are responsible for preparing and serving delicious, nutritious home-style meals, cooked from scratch in our kitchen. The menu is adapted to the individual needs of our guests.

Your Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals from scratch.
• Work independently and take responsibility for creating your own menus.
• Maintain excellent knowledge of hygiene routines regarding the kitchen and food products.
• Accommodate special dietary needs and have a good understanding of allergens.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is social, goal-oriented, and has a high level of service awareness. Since our guests have cognitive impairments, we place high demands on your interpersonal skills and patience.

Preferred Qualifications

• HACCP certification.
• Background as a nursing assistant (undersköterska).

Job Details

The position is permanent and covers 90% of full-time hours. There is an opportunity to increase to 100% in the future.
