We are looking for you who want to lead and develop Sida's work with information and IT/cybersecurity in a changing world, thereby actively contributing to the protection of Sida's operations and Sweden's security. The position also involves a temporary appointment as Deputy Security Manager. All managers at Sida have temporary appointments.
About the job
As CISO, you lead and develop the agency's systematic information and IT/cybersecurity work and contribute to a strengthened security culture. You report to the Security Manager and coordinate the information and IT/cybersecurity team, while also holding the role of Deputy Security Manager. You also contribute to developing the agency's work in other parts of the security and preparedness area.
You work at our office in Rissne, Sundbyberg.
Responsibilities
- Management and development of the agency's information security management system (LIS) and systematic information and IT/cybersecurity work.
- Strategic and tactical business planning, quality assurance, environmental scanning, follow-up and development, as well as advisory support to the operations.
- Coordination of the work within the agency's information and IT/cybersecurity team, consisting of security coordinators, security specialists, and hired consultants.
- Assist the Security Manager in representing the operations, both internally and externally, including reporting to the board and management, as well as collaboration with ministries and other agencies.
- Other tasks occurring within the unit.

Qualifications
Education
- Relevant academic education in information and IT/cybersecurity, systems science, or equivalent multi-year experience of working in a leadership role in the field (e.g., CISO, ISO, or Security Manager).
Languages
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
Work experience and knowledge
- Good knowledge of laws and regulations regarding information and IT/cybersecurity, security protection, GDPR, as well as public access and confidentiality for government agencies.
- Good knowledge and experience of having implemented measures in accordance with frameworks such as ISO/IEC 27001/27002, CIS Controls.
- Good knowledge of and ability to translate requirements according to NIS/NIS2 into governance, risk management, measures, and follow-up.
- Experience in personnel management or team leadership.

You also have good administrative skills to plan, organize, and follow up work in a structured and efficient manner. The work is carried out both individually and in collaboration with others, which requires that you have a good ability to collaborate with others while also being able to work independently to drive work forward and achieve set goals.

For this role, it is meritorious if you
- Have certifications such as CISM, CISSP, CISA, CEH, or CGEIT.
- Have knowledge of technical security solutions and experience in conducting security audits and reviews.
- Have experience in incident management and security investigations.
- Have experience in working with security protection and security-protected procurement (SUA).
- Have experience working in the public sector.
Good to know
The position is a permanent appointment with immediate effect. Probationary period applies.
Sida offers the possibility of remote work to some extent if it works for the operations.
The position is classified in a security class, and you need to give consent for register control according to the Security Protection Act if you are offered the position. Swedish citizenship is required for the position.
