What you will do in the role

As a Business Developer on our team, you will:

  • Qualify and accelerate partner-driven business opportunities to improve margins and shorten sales cycles
  • Collaborate with partners and account executives to drive effective business development
  • Ensure data quality in Salesforce (SFDC) through accurate logging and follow-up of older opportunities
  • Close or advance opportunities based on sales stage and value (e.g., SS1–SS3, SS1–SS7)
  • Provide structured feedback to improve the quality of partner leads
  • Develop and document best practices and workflows for collaboration in pilot countries
  • Coordinate with the BDR team to manage and convert Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs)
  • Ensure quick follow-up and proper handling of incoming MQLs
  • Identify and process new business opportunities within the SMB segment via outbound outreach (phone, email, LinkedIn, etc.)
  • Conduct account research to understand customer needs, decision-makers, and buying behaviors
  • Adapt messaging to present HPE solutions and value propositions to small and medium-sized businesses
  • Execute outbound campaigns aligned with regional and product-based initiatives
  • Create sales and recovery plans together with sales and channel teams
  • Build and manage opportunities in “unattended accounts” and ensure follow-up and closure
  • Maintain high data quality and CRM discipline in Salesforce
  • Monitor and analyze sales processes, lead aging, and conversion rates
  • Support faster closures for SMB deals in the $20,000–$50,000 range
  • Ensure smooth handover to account managers or inside sales with full context

Your Qualifications

We welcome people from diverse backgrounds who are curious and eager to learn.

This role is right for you if you have:

  • Fluent or bilingual Swedish and advanced English
  • 1–3 years of experience in lead generation, sales development, or inside sales (preferably in SaaS, B2B, or tech)
  • Proven experience generating leads, cold calling, and delivering sales presentations with good results
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Good technical understanding and interest in technology and the SMB market
  • Experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce, as well as tools like Outreach or Salesloft
  • Goal-oriented, analytical thinking, and high self-motivation
  • Team player with the ability to work in fast-paced environments
  • Good structure, pipeline management, and prioritization skills

  • Full-time (39 hours/week), permanent contract: Monday–Friday 09:00–18:00
  • Salary: €22,376 gross/year + up to €2,000 bonus + private health insurance
