ÖoB in Umeå is now looking for a customer-focused and development-oriented deputy department store manager with experience in leadership and retail.
As the deputy department store manager, you are a key member of the store's management team, working closely with the store manager. Your responsibilities include operations, sales, and creating a positive and developmental work environment. You help drive the business forward, both operationally and strategically.

Qualifications
We are looking for someone with previous experience as a deputy department store manager (assistant store manager) or department head, with the ambition to eventually step up to the role of store manager. You are a confident and engaged leader who serves as a role model for your colleagues and is motivated by developing both staff and the business.
You are responsible, have good collaboration skills, and enjoy working with people. You have an interest in retail and leadership, and see opportunities in growing with new challenges. The role involves many contact points, requiring good communication skills as well as the ability to plan and organize your work.
We are looking for someone who is self-motivated and goal-oriented, with the drive to contribute to sales, employee development, and good results, always in line with ÖoB's concept and working model.

Experience from a leadership position in retail or grocery is an advantage, as is experience working in large-scale operations and a forklift license.

This is a part-time temporary position, 30 hours/week, with a start date no later than August 21, 2026, and running until June 1, 2028. Working hours are varied and include evenings and weekends.
