Do you want to sell technical solutions, build customer relationships, and develop Jungheinrich's business in Northern Sweden?

At Jungheinrich, you will work closely with customers, develop new business, and represent a strong technical brand in Northern Sweden. Jungheinrich is looking for a Senior Account Manager with Umeå as the primary base. In this role, you will sell new and used forklifts, leasing solutions, and short-term rentals to companies in the industry, warehousing, and logistics sectors. You will be given a large territory, freedom under responsibility, and the opportunity to build long-term customer relationships through proactive activity, needs analysis, and technical understanding. Here, you will become an important part of an international company with quality products, knowledgeable colleagues, and an offer that helps customers create more efficient material flows. We warmly welcome your application!

Your Employment Offer

At Jungheinrich, you will have an independent role where you combine technical sales, customer visits, and business development in a large geographical area. You will work with a broad and advanced product portfolio and have support from the sales manager, technicians, service organization, and experienced sales colleagues. The onboarding process is thorough, including product training and ride-alongs, giving you the right prerequisites to grow into the role. You will receive a company car, digital tools, and a workday with great freedom, clear goals, and the opportunity for good salary development in a stable company with strong customer presence.

Your Responsibilities

You are responsible for sales in Jungheinrich's Northern Sweden district, from Borlänge and northwards. The role has a clear focus on new customer acquisition, but also includes the development of existing customers and follow-up of long-term business opportunities.

Your primary responsibilities:

  • Process new customers and create business in the district
  • Sell new and used forklifts, leasing solutions, and short-term rentals
  • Prospecting, booking meetings, and conducting customer visits
  • Make both planned and spontaneous visits to customers
  • Drive the sales process from first contact to quote, follow-up, and closing
  • Work actively in the CRM system with pipeline, activities, and customer history
  • Follow up on lease agreements, exchange needs, and ongoing customer relationships
  • Conduct product presentations and demonstrations at the customer site
  • Collaborate with Key Account Managers (KAM), technicians, service organization, and the IT department for larger deals and tenders

Important to Know

The role is advertised with the Umeå area as the primary geographical base, but you may also base yourself from Sundsvall or Östersund and surrounding areas. You will work from a home office and have access to a company car as well as digital work tools.

The district extends from Borlänge and northwards, which implies a lot of travel and regular overnight stays. Overnight stays typically occur at least once a week and periodically more, depending on customer structure and planning. Travel of seven to eight hours one way may occur.

You report to the Sales Director Sweden and collaborate closely with the sales team, technicians, service organization, and the headquarters in Malmö. The position is full-time with a start date as agreed.

Our Expectations

For this role, we are looking for you who have worked with independent B2B sales for several years and are accustomed to driving business from first contact to closing. You have preferably sold technical products, machinery, vehicles, industrial solutions, or other offerings where you needed to understand the customer's business and adapt the solution to their needs. Experience from industry, warehousing, or logistics is particularly relevant.

You thrive in a proactive sales role where you take the initiative yourself, book customer meetings, and build your sales through high activity and clear follow-up. Since the district is large, you need to be structured in your planning, resilient in longer sales processes, and comfortable working independently from a home office.

Technical understanding is an important part of the role. You need to be comfortable diving into technical data, understanding how the products are used in the customer's environment, and being able to hold credible dialogues about function, capacity, and solutions. You will also conduct product presentations and demonstrations, which means you need to feel confident in customer-facing technical conversations.

You have a B driver's license, good computer skills, experience with CRM systems, and basic knowledge of Excel. A forklift license is meritorious but not a requirement. If you lack a forklift license, you will receive training in connection with your onboarding. You communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.

As a person, you are business-driven, relationship-building, and responsible. You gain energy from customer dialogues, are confident in making new contacts, and have the ability to build trust with different types of decision-makers, from warehouse managers and production managers to purchasing managers and company executives.
