We are now looking for an experienced Purchasing Specialist for an exciting consulting assignment focused on optimizing the client's supply chain. The role plays a central part in strengthening profitability through improved sourcing, more efficient logistics flows, and strategic supplier management.

About the role

You will act as the responsible purchaser and work closely with departmental specialists, regional sales companies, and suppliers to ensure cost-effective and competitive solutions.

In this role, you will:

• Analyze and optimize the logistics chain with the goal of reducing total costs and improving service levels
• Drive renegotiations of prices and terms
• Challenge existing suppliers and identify alternative sourcing strategies
• Collaborate cross-functionally to maximize profitability
• Manage and follow up on supplier contracts, including lead times and quality outcomes
• Ensure delivery capacity and service agreements

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have documented experience in strategic purchasing or procurement. You have a good understanding of supply chains, logistics optimization, and cost drivers in industrial environments. Experience from the automotive industry and an international environment is a plus. For this assignment, you need to be fluent in Swedish and English, both in speech and writing.
