Höga Kusten Kajak (see hogakustenkajak.se) is looking for additional staff for part of the summer of 2026 – paddling in the Ångermanälven river and along the High Coast.

We are looking for a summer employee who will primarily serve as an assistant guide on kayak tours, often with inexperienced guests/customers. You will work together with an experienced leader, and you do not need to be a "kayak expert" from the start; you will learn more as you go. However, it is very important that you yourself have good water confidence and swimming skills. You will also need to be able to drive customers and their kayaks to and from various locations along the High Coast, sometimes with a trailer. Therefore, a Category B driver's license is necessary, as well as enjoying working with people. Since foreign customers may be present, you need to have a reasonable command of English. Preparing kayaks and equipment is also part of the job, and during times with fewer kayak customers, maintenance work on buildings and some simple forestry work are included. The time we need you is primarily during our high season, approximately mid-July to mid-August, but exact dates are negotiable.

The base for the operations is a picturesque cove in the Ångermanälven river near the High Coast Bridge. Possibility to live on-site can be discussed, as well as the form of employment (hourly wage or fixed monthly salary).
