Take the next step as a Senior Account Manager at Jungheinrich in Sundsvall and develop business across Norrland.
Do you want to work in technical sales where you can create new business, build long-term customer relationships, and represent a strong brand? Jungheinrich is now looking for a driven Senior Account Manager responsible for developing sales in the Norrland region.
Here you will work with the sales of new and used forklifts, leasing solutions, and short-term rentals to customers within industry, warehousing, and logistics. This role is perfect for you if you enjoy being out with customers, picking up the phone, working with quality products, and creating business through activity, technical understanding, and long-term relationships.
We warmly welcome your application today!
Your Employment Offer
As a Senior Account Manager at Jungheinrich, you will receive an independent and business-oriented assignment with significant responsibility for a large district. You represent a strong brand with quality products and solutions for customers in industry, warehousing, and logistics. Here you will combine proactive sales with long-term customer relationships and work closely with both customers, technicians, and experienced sales colleagues.
At Jungheinrich, you become part of a stable international company with high technical competence, a strong customer focus, and high-quality products. You are offered good employment conditions, a well-equipped workday, and the right prerequisites for success in a dynamic and customer-oriented role.
You will receive a thorough introduction with product training, carpooling with senior salespeople, and ongoing support from the sales manager, technicians, and colleagues. The product portfolio is broad and technically advanced, allowing you to grow into the role step by step with the right support around you.
Your Responsibilities
You are responsible for developing sales in the Norrland district, north of Borlänge. The assignment primarily involves new customer acquisition, but also the development of existing customers and follow-up of ongoing business.
The assignment includes:
- Acquiring new customers and building business in the district
- Selling new and used forklifts, leasing solutions, and short-term rentals
- Prospecting, cold calling for meeting bookings
- Planning and conducting customer visits, both scheduled meetings and spontaneous visits
- Driving the sales process from prospecting to quote, follow-up, and closing
- Actively working in the CRM system with pipeline, activities, and customer history
- Following up on lease agreements, exchange needs, and long-term customer opportunities
- Conducting product presentations and demonstrations at the customer site
- Collaborating with Key Account Managers (KAM), technicians, the service organization, and the IT department for major deals and tenders
Important Information
The role is advertised with the Sundsvall area as the primary geographical base, but you may also base yourself from Umeå or Östersund and surrounding areas. You work from a home office, with access to a company car and digital work tools for the role.
The district extends north of Borlänge and further north, which means a lot of travel and regular overnight stays, normally at least once a week and periodically more. Travel of seven to eight hours one way may occur.
You report to the Sales Director Sweden and have daily contact with your own sales team as well as close collaboration with technicians, the service organization, and the headquarters in Malmö. The position is full-time with a start date to be agreed upon.
Our Expectations
We are looking for you who have several years of experience in independent proactive B2B sales, preferably within technical products, machinery, vehicles, industry, warehousing, or logistics. You thrive in an active and proactive role where you contact new customers, build your district, and drive the sales process forward with clear activity, structure, and good foresight in planning your customer visits. You are resilient and understand longer sales processes, where business is built step by step through continuous follow-up, needs analysis, and long-term customer relationships.
Technical understanding and interest are important for the role. You need to be comfortable diving into technical data, be meticulous, and have an eye for detail. Likewise, you need to understand the customer's operating environment and needs well enough to conduct credible dialogues, tailor solutions, and conduct product demonstrations. Experience with forklifts, machinery, vehicles, industrial solutions, or other technical sales is therefore relevant.
You have a B driving license, good computer skills, experience with CRM systems, and basic knowledge of Excel. A forklift license is meritorious but not a requirement. If you lack a forklift license, you will receive training in connection with your introduction. You communicate fluently in both speech and writing in Swedish and English, as Jungheinrich is an international concern.
As a person, you are self-reliant, energetic, and business-driven. You are confident in contacting new customers, enjoy being out with customers, and like planning your days independently. You build relationships naturally and enjoy meeting different types of customers, from warehouse managers and production managers to purchasing managers and business leaders.
