We are currently looking for a Project Buyer for Absolicon for a role starting immediately.

The assignment is initially for approximately two months, spanning the summer and autumn. You will support the business with project procurement related to ongoing projects and ensure that materials and components are in place according to the project schedules.

Main Responsibilities

The role involves operational purchasing and delivery follow-up, with a focus on manufacturing details in metal and mechanical components. You will work closely with the projects and have independent responsibility for driving the purchasing processes forward.

The tasks include, among other things:

• Drive and coordinate purchases related to ongoing projects.
• Purchase of manufacturing details in metal and mechanical components.
• Handle supplier contacts, request for quotations (RFQs), and orders.
• Follow up on orders, deliveries, and lead times.
• Coordinate purchases with workshops within cutting, bending, CNC machining, and other mechanical manufacturing.
• Ensure that materials and components are available according to the project schedules.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience in operational and project-based purchasing within industry or manufacturing.
• Has a good understanding of manufacturing processes within metalworking.
• Is accustomed to working with suppliers within mechanical manufacturing and metalworking.
• Is structured, self-initiative, and used to driving work forward.
• Has good communication skills and experience in following up on deliveries and purchasing flows.

Scope and Start Date

The assignment starts immediately with the possibility of working a few weeks before the summer holiday. The next major workload will occur after the summer when the business returns to full activity in mid-August.
