Previous experience is desired
Are you a purchaser skilled in administration, negotiation, and building networks and good relationships? Do you want to be part of our continued expansion and growth journey into the world? Then you should apply for the position of Purchasing Manager at SSG Standard Solutions Group, an established Swedish company with strong equity and powerful owners.
Your work involves responsibility for the entire purchasing process, where purchases consist of, for example, software licenses, IT tools, property agreements, printing services, fleet management, etc. Additionally, there is an opportunity to be our representative in the so-called "Delivery Contract," where you will be part of a committee and meet and train other purchasing managers and buyers on-site at our industrial customers. Your main tasks include:
- Manage and develop supplier relationships
- Ensure compliance with the company's supplier requirements
- Identify and drive cost reduction opportunities
- Perform supplier scouting, selection, and qualification
- Negotiate framework agreements, prices, and terms
- Drive the process from request, quote analysis to final agreement.
The role requires a high degree of self-drive, as you will act independently within the purchasing function while simultaneously receiving support and collaborating closely throughout the organization. We prefer that you are a business-minded person with good negotiation experience, commercially driven, and have a strategic approach.
We are looking for someone who is experienced and confident in your role as a purchaser. If you also have a purchasing education, such as SILF certification, we see it as a big plus. You do not need to be an IT expert since we have that competence internally, so the most important thing is that you enjoy working with the purchasing process, handling negotiations, and ensuring good agreements are in place.
You thrive in an administrative role where you get to work operationally but also focus on the strategic. Your background can be from industry or other sectors, and to deliver within the purchasing function, good collaboration is required, as well as being active and forward-thinking in building networks and good relationships both internally and externally.
You handle Swedish and English fluently in both speech and writing. We assume you have good knowledge of MS Office. Experience with Adobe and previous experience with business systems are advantageous.
The position is an employment with SSG, located at the headquarters in Sundsvall. The recruitment is carried out in cooperation with Rutinera.
