About the company

Circulose is a textile recycling company with unique technology and a product – CIRCULOSE® – which is made from 100 percent textile waste, primarily cotton. The company’s mission is to lead the transition to circular fashion by making large-scale textile recycling accessible.

About the role

In the role of Buyer at our company, you are responsible for both daily purchasing operations and the long-term development of the supplier base, processes, and working methods.

You work closely with production, technology, R&D, and management, actively contributing to ensuring cost-efficiency, quality, and sustainability throughout the supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement purchasing strategies
• Negotiate contracts and commercial terms
• Evaluate and develop suppliers
• Identify cost-saving and efficiency opportunities
• Build structures, routines, and processes within purchasing
• Place and follow up on purchase orders
• Ensure deliveries according to needs and production plans
• Handle deviations, complaints, and supplier dialogue
• Maintain master data and purchasing-related documentation

Who you are

We are looking for someone who is business-minded, analytical, and unpretentious. You have the ability to switch between strategic thinking and operational execution, and you thrive in a role where you both drive issues forward and make things happen in practice. You are motivated by creating structure and clarity in a dynamic environment, while building good collaborations and contributing to business value.

We believe you have:

• Several years of experience in purchasing, preferably within industry/production
• Relevant post-secondary education in purchasing, economics, engineering, or equivalent
• Experience in negotiation and contract work
• Good knowledge of Excel
• Fluency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Experience with ERP systems

Experience from manufacturing industry, process industry, or companies in a growth phase is considered a merit.
